While I don’t take insurance, I can help verify if you have out-of-network (OON) benefits. I use a HIPAA-compliant service that automatically submits superbills after each session, making the reimbursement process easier for you. In some cases, this system may even allow you to pay only a copay for our meetings, streamlining the financial side of therapy so you can focus on your well-being.

Sessions typically begin on a weekly basis to provide consistent support as we work through your goals. As progress is made and less frequent guidance is needed, we can adjust to every two weeks or even less. If additional support is required at any point, extra sessions can be scheduled to ensure you have the help you need when you need it.

A large part of what makes therapy effective is finding the right therapist. It’s not just about finding someone with the skills to help with your unique challenges, but also someone who makes you feel comfortable, safe, and understood. A great way to determine if we’re a good fit is to schedule a consult before your first session. This allows us to get to know each other and see if my approach aligns with your needs.

The length of therapy will vary depending on your individual needs and goals. If you have specific concerns you're motivated to work through quickly, we may have fewer sessions. On the other hand, if you're seeking continued support for ongoing challenges, our time together can be extended to fit those needs. At the start of our sessions, we’ll develop a flexible treatment plan that guides our work together and ensures therapy aligns with your personal journey.

Confidentiality is a fundamental part of therapy, creating a safe and private space for you to express yourself freely. However, there are some exceptions to this confidentiality. If there is suspected past or present abuse of children, dependent adults, or elders, or if I believe you are a serious danger to yourself or someone else, I am required by law to take appropriate action. These exceptions are in place to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved.

Talk therapy provides a supportive, confidential space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with a trained therapist. Through conversation, you can gain insight into patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and work toward personal growth. Sessions may involve discussing current challenges, past experiences, or future goals, depending on your needs. The therapist will guide the conversation, offer feedback, and help you build skills to manage stress, relationships, and emotions more effectively. Therapy is a collaborative process tailored to your unique situation, allowing you to make meaningful changes at your own pace.

Therapy helps improve your mental health by providing a safe, nonjudgmental space to process emotions, identify challenges, and develop effective coping strategies. A therapist can help you manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other concerns by offering guidance, tools, and support tailored to your needs. Through therapy, you can gain self-awareness, improve relationships, build resilience, and develop healthier thought patterns. Over time, this leads to greater emotional well-being and a stronger ability to navigate life's ups and downs.
